harkale (05/27/2015) [-] I'm not a huge fan of the sand snakes so far, but i thought it mostly showed how dangerous they can be she was literally killing this guy by turning him on, or at least speeding up his death . And she was doing it mostly because she was mildly annoyed with him not saying she was the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen. I may be reading to much into it, but that's what I got from it.

kaiyuni (05/27/2015) [-] That Bronn was poisoned. We didn't know that. We also didn't know where Bronn ended up. He was with Jaime, who isn't in prison. Where is Braum? Oh, in a cell next to the Snakes. The fact he had been poisoned needed to be addressed. What, in 2 episodes Jaime would've found out "Oh by the way, Braum died from poison in a prison cell, lulz."; rather than that (awful writing) we get a fan-service close-up of a nice pair of breasts for like a minute or so worth of time.
Also, the Snakes needed to seem at least kind of lethal to be honest. They were staved off by a single mercenary and a man who lost his dominant hand until guards came and locked them all up.
And it's a side-factor, but Dornish people (men and women both) seem incredibly comfortable with their sexuality and presenting themselves nude. The girl even got to see Braum suffer out of it. Maybe she gets off on making a guy suffer and beg? How do you know; the show is deviating more and more from the books with every episode anyway.

To be honest it is because the books themselves went down hill with FfC and DD. It really wouldn't be any better if they stuck with the books either. We are past all the interesting stuff and now are pushing through the fluff. They need to end it sooner than later. Kill Arya's storyline as well as Bran's. Make Sansa ruler of the north and then have everyone band together against the white walkers before the show just succumbs to fluff.

It's sad, but imho the only really, really good season was the first one because it was 99% true to the books.
Once they started to add made up things the series started to become a bit inconsistent and season 5 is the new low.
Hopefully it gets better next season...
