New Cinderella - Game of Thrones ties?

In the new Cinderella movie, Richard Madden stars as Prince Charming. Being an avid GoT fan I was excited to see his work. Though throughout the movie I noticed a few references to the show. Young Rob was out hunting, and they run across a Stag. Large and majestic. Then before they catch the Stag he is convinced not to by Cinderella. At first I was thinking a slight coincidence, but then right after that the merchant of Qarth comes in to talk to Rob. Okay slightly more weird. But on top of that, Rob tells Cinderella to call him Kit. For no absolute reason whatsoever. Nothing later on in the story does the name Kit play any importance. Was this because of his friend from the show, Kit Harrington? Could it have been a joke to the director about his past works? We can't know for sure, but this many references have to be on purpose. All in all the movie was good, and damn them titties.
