yeah. Partially because of potential spoilers but mostly because George still has no idea when it's going to be done and I just really want to read it.

no because the show and books have clear and distinct differences now and to treat them as the same thing would be stupid.

the shows writers and producers have already said that they were going to start writing their own storyline to the show because the books werent coming out fast enough. as this was well before GRRM anounced the delayed release.

Well, George RR Martin told them the direction to take it. He told them the major things that are going to happen, and they'd already been making changes well before they ran out of book material.
