He already told the directors how it goes on so it's not a problem, and the series are taking a different turn anyway so they are becoming more of a separate thing

You say it like it's a bad thing. What's better than experiencing two different versions of the same story? Better that than them being identical.

Let's just hope Season six doesn't pull a season five on us and turns out to be another piss poor bunch of episodes.

It's a different telling. They have clear and distinct differences at this point. If the plotlines had been reversed, with the show's plot originally being in the books and the book plot being the one in the show, you would still be bitching about how they had ruined characters from the books just because they changed them.

Even though it's sad, is the best outcome. After the show ends book readers won't have to break GRRM balls anymore, so he'll end up writing the books without pressure, besides i don't wan't to see a droop in quality just because he is in a hurry.

I honestly just watched this **** after reading the books, 1/10.
watching this is like reading the kids version of the books, all the adult **** gore, torture etc. are pretty much editted out.

TL;DR the hollywood version of "game of thrones" aka "A song of Ice and Fire" is shiet mate!

The show is a hell of a lot more 'gory', especially since Theons torture is only vaguely referenced like 1 time while it's happening in the books. If I hadn't watched the show first, I would have had no idea what happened to him.

The game of thrones show is ok. I feel like an asshole for saying it, but truly the books are better. Beric Dondarrion is way cooler than he was portrayed in the show. Robb Stark marries a girl named Jeyne Westerling, which is significant because the Westerlings are an old house pledged to House Lannister. Thats why Frey was so pissed and executed the Red Wedding. A lot of great scenes were used in the show and I definitely respect that, but theres also a lot of scenes they didn't use which are gold. For instance, Mance is supposed to be switched with Rattleshirt. Mance isn't killed, Rattleshirt is killed in his place

tldr shows good but books are better
