I read Storm of Swords a few years back, so I knew about Shae's treachery, but it still pisses me off, sure, she was annoying- but they built up her relationship with Tyrion for so long that It felt like it would last forever

In the books he strangled her with the chain of the hand of the king but in the show its a pin not a chain.. I think your right tho i think he will choke her out.. when he discovers her in his father bed he is going to go up to her and touch her face while she says sorry and tries to explain then his hands will move down from her face to around her neck and he will strangle the **** out of her..

??? Yea well in the third book tyrion finds shae wearing the chain of the hand of the king and uses to to strangle her..

galaxyguy (05/23/2014) [-] I think the main confusion here is that there's both a pin and a chain, and not everyone's clear on that. So to clarify for everyone involved:
There's a pin of the Hand. That's the normal symbol that Hands wear. It's in both the books and the TV show.
Tyrion has the chain made whilst he is the Hand. Can't remember why. It is only in the books, and does not appear in the TV show.
So, when Tyrion strangles Shae in the books in the chain, he cannot do the same in the series. There's no chain. So the question is how it is done. There. Clarified.
