The university of Edinburgh. Still not sure what history I should take. Celtic and Scottish history or History with politics.

Hmm, that's tough, as I'm taking History and I love it, and right now we're doing Scottish History.
If you're interested in how Britain shaped the way it has become with it's rules and beginnings, Scottish history might interest you.
Politics is also interesting, however I haven't studied it as a subject to give an opinion.

I feel confident with my knowledge about the founding of Britain and such, though it would be interesting to delve deeper into it. But the politics aspect would probably let me get more opportunities later.

So is Scotland as cold as Norway?

Oh hell yeah, but it's not nearly as bad as Nordic countries like Norway, but it's not been too bad so far this Winter.
