The reason many players fake injuries is because they get a reward (free kicks or penalties) if it was like this in other sports, there would be a lot of acting in them as well. Football (Your soccer) requires a lot more intelligence than any other sport, there is a reason it is the most popular sport in the world.

Well in American football, the players receive orders from the quarterback who receives orders from the coach. In real football you make your own plays you have to time passes right. But by your logic, pool requires the same amount of intelligence as boxing and there's nothing you can say to disprove that.

let me just say this.
I have been playing soccer for 13 years now. From the sport alone i have broken my nose twice, the second of which required reconstructive surgery. I sprained a cervical vertebrae in my neck, and got a concussion. I dislocated my kneecap three times, and had to have the patella-femoral ligament reconstructed out of tendon from my hamstring. i don't even go to the doctor for a sprained ankle anymore.
say what you want about soccer's ideology, but never say that it's a pussy sport.

I feel you man. I played american football for about 8 years (as soon as I could) I had everything from a broken collar bone, broken jaw, dislocated shoulder, concussions, and shin splints. That was all WITH pads on. So the sport I play is so brutal people get hurt more while wearing protective gear. If they didn't wear gear people would literally die playing the game. On kick offs returners would just get leveled at full speed and die. So yes I do understand soccer CAN be brutal. It is just the small percentage of floppers make the sport a joke for the prideful players who arent complete bitches

Hell, Walter Payton, the best football player to play the sport became addicted to painkillers and pretty much went insane when he retired.
