always found it ironic that girls spend so much time and energy making themselves beautiful for men while most men don't but most men will get with anything that moves and women have standards. seems that in a logical world it would be the other way around.

They don't. Apparently, they dress up and all that shit to impress other girls. They couldn't really care any less about what us dudes think about their appearance.

Haha, that's true. Though, some guys work out like crazy to be fit for the ladies. Personally I don't really like muscles, I find them intimidating Oo

Careful now, you just said you liked non-muscular guys on a site populated almost exclusively by them.
Fly you fool.

Just beeing curious: At what point do you think it is "intimidating"? Well if someone bulks like crazy with all kind of supplements and is acting like a huge douche, than it's understandable. I find that quiet interessting because it is not the first time that I hear or read girls saying that they dont find muscular males that attractive or even dislike it.

Always had lean boyfriends so I guess I´ve developed a taste. But mostly it´s prejudice, I expect people who spend 2 hours in the gym everyday to be stupid and boring. :/

Thats ok, they probably find you stupid and boring too :)

(sorry for my bad english btw)
I don't know in what kind of city you live or why you think like that. Probably because of the media or because some of them are really Idiots and you only recognise the bad (because the normal people don't show off or try to attract attention) but it's not right. Most people in my gym are very nice, modest, helpfull people and half of them have got a very high education. And most of them don't do it to impress someone but to release stress, to gain weight in a healthy way, to be fitter, stronger and to have more stamina. It's sad that a lot of people think so bad about people who workout. Just because a very few of them are douchy fools.

Yeah I know. I don´t actually think all muscled men are stupid, but the ones you meet out in the bar usually are.

hm.. that's maybe somehow true. Most of the guys In my gym don't go out drinking much and acting like narcissistic, attentiongrabbing douchbags/fashionqueens. Those you are talking about are probably for a big part so called "gym-rats" who take all kind of muscle-building products and walk with skin-tight cloth to clubs (even in winter). They don't represent us and It's good that a lot of girls are not attracted by guys who act like that.

and think like that: some of us don't have the luck that mothernature gave us good stamina, normal body-shape or great hair. So exercising instead of relaxing and eating yummy food is also a good way to feel better with that.

Yep that´s the ones I´m thinking of. You see them at the gym pretty much licking their own muscles XD

It really does suck that some people have such amazing personalities and great minds, but because of lacking looks are most likely to get friend zoned. Evil evolution.
User avatar #200 to #192 - babyanalraper (11/21/2012) [-]
Bleh, you think that people who work out do it solely for looks, don't you? Most people I know who train, do it for either physical mastery (athletes, those who compete), or a better life by improving your general health. And most of my friends are academical...
User avatar #201 to #200 - tardaasa (11/21/2012) [-]
People who build muscles tend to do yeah. If it was just for health it´s probably better to do yoga/ run/ Swim. Does extreme muscle mass really help your health? ( I´m really no expert here, just assuming)
User avatar #202 to #201 - babyanalraper (11/21/2012) [-]
Not all people who go to the gym do it to build muscles. It's useful in most sports, even those based on stamina, and building general strenght is very much good for your health, especially when you get older.
User avatar #203 to #202 - tardaasa (11/21/2012) [-]
Well, the mucle size from people doing football, tennis, running, rowing, I don´t find intimidating and I don´t assume them to be shallow and stupid. That only goes for the Resident Evil/ Chris sort of arms that obviously comes from weight lifting.
And not saying Big muscles = stupid. Just that it´s more likely.
User avatar #204 to #203 - babyanalraper (11/21/2012) [-]
So when are muscles intimidating? What about gymnasts?
#205 to #204 - tardaasa (11/21/2012) [-]
<---- these sorta guys.
User avatar #206 to #205 - babyanalraper (11/21/2012) [-]
I wholeheartedly concur! Body-building is a disgrace, and against the real purpose of training. They won't become as strong as possible, they'll most definitely not become as fast as possible, and their endurance is a disaster. They won't be the best fighters, gymnasts, or anything, and they are damaging their bodies. Weight-lifting is at least somewhat admirable; they're best at what they do, but bodybuilding...

And I'm way too serious to be on the internet... Also, inb4 do you even lift
