Cause then we would never have an accurate account of how many people there are. If we did that we would of rounded it up to 7 billion as soon as it hit 6.5 years ago.

If you say that the population is 6 bilion you are wrong with 973 million people but if you say that the population is 7 billion you are only wrong with 27 million.

If the number is 6,999,999,999 it's still 6 billion . There is no way to be less wrong , wrong is wrong.

If it is at 6,999,999,999 it is at 6,999,999,999 and nothing else. If you do not allow rounding up then rounding down is not allowed either.

I agree with ya however I don't check the population of earth everyday. SO I use the number 6 billion or rather now 7 billion to refer to the population becuase I'm not sure of it's exact number.
