It's most certainly not a gaming laptop. It's a slightly improved dell with a fancy case, lights, a whole ******* of useless ****, and a $2000 alien symbol. All of which is worth around $500 at most.

Alienware desktops yes, they are overpriced. for the super laptops like the m18x they are at the same price point of everyone else, I was looking into that when i got this laptop. I originally wanted a sager but because of dells financing i happily got this awesome machine (which plays games better then the desktop at this point)

^ he's right. The technology comes from the fact that they have created a sort of carbon-atom that only binds with 3 other carbon-atoms instead of 4. This gives the material the ability to stick to other materials.

To be fair I haven't looked at gaming laptops since I bought mine 2 years ago, but my Asus was way cheaper with the same graphics card and similar specs. You pay a lot for the flashy lights, but they are cool.

I have a desktop now, but for years I played on a gaming laptop simply because I was moving around every six months and I couldn't have access to a desktop even if I had one. I had as much fun on the laptop with few enough problems that it didn't really matter.
I never thought I'd see a Desktop Elitist amongst PC Elitists.
