I loved Cloud Atlas so freaking much. The book and the movie are great.

Cloud Atlas was missing something. I don't know what, but I felt like it needed...something...to really tie it all back together.

Read the book then, there's only so much you can fit into a 3 hour movie compared to a book.
Also, try watching it again, there are an absurd amount of easter eggs tying everything together.
