The city is either where the flagship store is or what cities "lifestlye" it is imitating, the year is when the brand was founded or supposedly founded and the other words are once again the lifestyles the brands are trying to associate themselves with. It's simple marketing.

I once decided to check the number as well as the symbols on a shirt. Considering the number was 476 and did talk about the Huns it lead me to a single conclusion.
