honestly whenever i have a dream like this i feel like i'm in a resident evil game and failing...especially with the saw thing.

I've died in a dream before. Necromorphs from Dead Space were stabbing my left eye over and over again. Then they started picking into my brain. Everything slowly went black, and I knew I died. It was just black for a while. It wasn't until I realized that I had nothing left to think about that I realized that I was dreaming, so I woke up. It was a surreal moment for me

i was always told the if you are falling in a dream, you want to wake up before you hit the bottom, or you die in real life.

yeah something about the adrenaline from falling stopping your heart, as with all urban legends there's tons of versions but that's what I've heard

I once 'died' in a dream. I was driving, alone, down a long, straight road in the middle of the woods. I was actually lost in the dream. Eventually i came up to a dirt road trailing off into the woods. I decided to follow it. At the end of the road, i came upon a church. I got out of the car and started to walk up to it. As i got about 15 feet from the door, three men dressed in suits came out and started shooting at me. I started to run, but only made it about 10 feet before i was shot. I didn't feel any pain, but i felt nearly all my strength leave me almost instantly and my body went numb. I fell to the ground on my back and started whispering something. I don't remember what, or if it was even logical. I watched as my vision slowly blurred and faded. Then, just as my vision faded completely, I woke up, still whispering. I didn't feel quite right for a couple hours after that, but i recovered quickly. I was pretty freaked out.

I've had a recurring dream (not lately): the dream begins with me already free falling inside what seems an endless, pitch black pit. I've never been able to stay in the dream long enough to discover what lies at the end. This is the only dream I could say ends up in me dying, but I'm not sure.

My whole family died in my dreams, a bomb blew up at McDonald's and they were all there and I was just at the car place across the street. I had that dream when I was ten.

The most recent was that I was in some kind of large... mansion I suppose, and I was in a room that was set up like a car exhibition, and on a pedestal was a car that was never-before-seen, completely original design, with the intent to be sold in the same class as a sports car.
Suddenly the car turned and drove over me.

That's what happens in my death nightmares.
I look at something, it flips the fuck out, kills me.

The weirdest one was when I could kill zombies with a super soaker.

I once had a dream when I got shot in my head, and then I had another dream, being the person that shot me in the previous dream.

dreams are made up of things you've experienced, in random scenarios.

because obviously, you havn't died in real life, your brain doesnt know what its like to die and therefor just ends the dream and jumpkicks you awake and back into consiousness.

A strange dream where I inherited a massive house. First night I could swear I saw someone trying to break in, called the police and they couldn't find anything. Second night had a massive house party with all my friends. We were picked off slowly one by one by a guy in a scream mask. Pretty graphic and intense, seriously thought at one point it was real. Could feel the wind on my face and everything.

1. Strangled by fucking HUGE snake as I screamed in vain for help.
2. Stabbed someone I hated with all my fury (he also used to be a friend) and I cried afterward and died in space(still fuzzy to me too)
3. Fought an alpha wolf hand to hand

I was floating in space dead. My entire body was numb. Pretty creepy feeling.

I have, I don't remember what happened afterward, but all I know is I crashed a car into a lamppost. I didn't wake up, I know that.
