I feel the same way about "sufferers" of ADD/ADHD these days.

Most of them are annoying, ************ high schoolers who diagnose themselves with it so they can act like morons without getting trouble for it because "I can't help it! My brain doesn't work like that!".

It ******* infuriates me.

As someone who actually has ADHD, those people piss me off even more because they lead to people like you thinking that I'm one of those people who pretends to have it. I never tell anyone I have it, I don't make excuses. The only thing it does to me is disorients my thinking and my thought process is usually all over the place. Sometimes I feel restless when it's time to sleep and I often lose track of time and forget to do homework. But that's said and done, it's **** I deal with, and these ******** you described, whether they have it or not, they're just punks for not dealing with it.

I've been seeing a psychologist for a while now and she has recently diagnosed me with it, but my mum still thinks I'm just being ridiculous or lazy, ditzy etc. There's such a stigma associated with it - I think particularly for girls where it's not so much 'hyperactive' and so there are less obvious signs. I'm going to do what you do - don't tell anyone and just deal with it.
