Goats eat pretty much anything, so they'll eat that shitty vegetation on the mountainside and not really care, worth it for them...
They're also out of reach of predators, and any they aren't out of reach from they can see coming for a long distance on the side of the cliff, i'm pretty sure the older ones at the top would look out for the rest of their herd too
But all I wanna know is how they fucking do it with just hooves
