Atheists Worship him who made

1 Timothy 2: 12
I I do not permit a woman to teach
or to assume authority over a man;
she must be quiet.

I'm Christian, but I really hate it when people spout off verses to try to convert people. It NEVER works, it just pisses people off. Just let people believe what the hell they want to believe.

The Bible isn't a continuous listing of rules and regulations to live your life by. It's a collection of stories, mostly for the purpose of providing a sophisticated set of morals. And, like any good stories, they have a variety of characters both good and bad; not every fucking quote that you pick from The Bible is going to be the words straight from God's mouth.
In Genesis 9, Noah's son Ham sees Noah drunk and passed out naked and tells his brothers about it because he thinks it's so funny. His brothers think he's being immature, and cover Noah in a blanket out of respect. When Noah wakes up and finds out that Ham was teasing him, he gets pissy, and curses Ham and his son. People have taken this particular passage out of context so many times, using it as fodder for anti-gay propaganda, going "NOAH CURSED HIS SON FOR LOOKING AT HIS PEEPEE, LET US CURSE ALL WHO LOOK AT OTHER'S PEEPEES"
Or maybe Noah just had a hangover and he was embarrassed. It's that simple. He got angry and yelled and probably regretted it later, which is something that we can all relate to, and there are relatable passages like this ALL OVER THE BIBLE.
I'm not mad at the content. I just think it really needs to be said that there are so many inconsistencies and discrepancies in the words of The Bible because -- surprise, surprise -- more than one person is saying them.

I have a hunch as to why Christianity is picked on a lot VS other religions:
*Before I start, I'm an Agnostic. I don't know if there is a God. I'd like to think so, but I mostly feel a lot of apathy about it either way.
1) A lot of "Atheists" are actually anti-theists or trolls. I don't care to feed either.
2) Actual genuine atheist come from Christian backgrounds and hated the rigidity that their families placed on them; they rejected Christianity and bash it now. Whilst I can understand where these people come from, I feel it to be a bit immature.
3) I feel that this can work with hand in hand with the second example: Christianity, being the main (not official, I never said that) religion in the US is apart of the mainstream culture. The mainstream culture is always the first to be bashed on peoples shit-list. Also, the most vocal Christians (mostly Evangelicals) are also the most zealous, and annoying.
Whilst I agree that Christianity does deserve some of the criticism it receives (and there are some mature criticism out there. Not just "Hurr Durr, Kretions R dumb!") I feel like, here in the states at least, it seems to be the only religion that takes unabashed criticism (at least on the internet).
I feel that the other two Abrahamic religions are just as maniacal (if not more than) Christianity. But that would be taboo, and therefore, off limits.
I only say this because real atheists/agnostics that go on TV and radio (unlike us who hide behind our anonymity) call each one out on their bullshit, not just one. Examples? Bill Maher, and Penn Jillette. Those dudes have called out the three Abrahamic religions on their BS for a while now, not just picking one over the other.
Anyway, I'm done ranting. I hope this was some food for thought. I don't mean to rustle anyones jimmies, I just felt like it had to be said...
