He needs no wand. Have you seen that staff? And his flowy robes and white stallion more than make up for any superior beardiness Dumbledore may have.
Besides, Dumbledore DIED.

He never actually died, he almost died. But that only increased his powers.

Like Goku? I havent actually seen the movies and read all of the Harry Potter books though.

I thought if Saiyans almost died and didnt die they came back stronger?

The longer a Saiyan fights, the stronger he becomes. To fight untill you almost die is the greatest effort your body can give. That is why they become so strong after that. Goku died 3-4 times, but the same rule applied.

Dragonball or Dragonball Z? I never watched Dragonball, it's too slow and childish, from the little bits I've seen. Dragonball Z is good as a whole, although the drawing style gets better during the series. There is one particular point in which the drawing style becomes exeptionally good, but you should really watch it from the beginning.

I'll give you a brief recap on Dragonball, so you can watch Dragonball Z with too many question marks on your face. Goku was a baby when he was found by granpa Gohan. That grandpa taught Goku everything he knew about martial arts. The strange thing was the Goku turned into a giant ape when he saw the full moon, and he killed Gohan in the form. Then he comes across Bulma, who told him about the dragonballs. They go to find them all to make a wish. Underway Goku trains under Master Roshi, together with Krillin and Yamcha, and they defend the earth from all kinds of danger. In DBZ, Goku has grown up to a man and is married.
