ties with colours that actually fit together. not super flashy and maybe some good looking stripes. personally I like thin ties.

neutral colors, can't be too flashy if you want to come across as any sort of serious.

i've had a couple bosses who had the personality to match weird ties, used to work for a guy named allan big ol fat guy who always found the guadiest ties, but he was hilarious.
