Is making cancer cells 'explode' really a cure?

No one said it was a cure. They just said it could explode.

I need some sciencey people up in this bitch.
If it makes the cancer cells explode, wouldn't it be dangerous for the rest of the cells?
For example if you have cancer in your arm, and they use that stuff on it = Dead arm?

Picture semi related.

>A study suggested autism begins during pregnancy

And just like that, there are no more autistic children running around and abortion became a lot more popular

Did we really not know that autism started during pregnancy? When did we think it started? Did the kids make a choice after they were born, "I'm going to be autistic now mom"?

I swear, they find a way to destroy cancer every week, but we never hear about any of it except for the "this week in science" posts. You'd think something cancer related would be a huge news story. am I missing something here?

The fact is, there's a huge difference between finding some way to destroy a cancer cell and finding a viable way to cure cancer in someone's body.
Also, the wording is misleading. Almost every way you eliminate cancer causes the cell to "explode" because in order to destroy cancer cells you lyse them.

It's basically the difference between saying you found a planet that can support life and finding life on that planet.
