What's wrong with comparing an interesting and unusual experience to a common theme in video games? I thought it was funny, a tad clever even. Sometimes I think you people hate tumblr just for the sake of hating tumblr.

That was the last comment. The past 3 posts were some ********** ****** who obviously can't speak english updating other tumblrfags of the same species on her life who nobody cares about whilst typing in all caps because "MAI CAPS IZ RANDUM LOLZZZ"

I forgot my book in a classroom (which probably didn't happen) how unusual, better tell the internet about it IN ALL ******* CAPS. But yea they're all fags

Because forgetting his book was obviously the highlight of the story and the reason people found it funny

Well yea, considering he started his post with just that and nothing else. Again, in all caps. So he either made this whole story up or is massively mildly austistic

In context, the first post was juts him making a panicked message over his social media account. The next two were him updating anyone who cares (all those followers man!) about the situation, and the final post was somebody making a joke about the situation, which is the funny party.

Because of a couple reasons
1) It's a boring story, just a person forgetting their book in the class and overreacting
2) The punchline (well, the closest thing to the punchline) was the good kid having the keys, and it was kinda skimmed over by massive amounts of overly dramatic typing

It's not about hating tumblr, these stories are legitimately boring and forgettable alongside the funny pictures posted and the 4chan greentext stories which at least ******** themselves to make it incredibly funny.

okay, listen
1) the story is about is about the good kid having the keys to the classroom, divided into two posts. And yes it is terribly cancerous and drowned in caps.

2) The punchline however is the last comment which is a reference to a common occurence in video games.

So I think it is quite amusing and it is not very common for a student to have keys to a classroom..

Ya, it's amusing, but not in this format. Even if it didn't have the caps and retarded amount of text trying to make it look like he.she was having a panic attack, it's not that funny and shouldn't be front page. It's a dumb little story with an uncommon twist, that's all.

Unfortunately, this is what funnyjunk has digressed into. A peice of **** money-grubbing admin who incessantly PM's users with useless junk to generate traffic, and thumbwhores who either post the same content that's been posted a thousand times before, tumb1r screencaps that are ridiculously hard to even look at due to the sheer idiocy contained in one, or a screencap of a string of funnyjunk comments that miraculously make it to the frontpage because it has joshlol or phanact on it. Granted, the funnyjunk screencaps are better than the tumb1r ones, I can't help but roll my eyes everytime I see one that says "i git fontpage because johslol on here?" that has 500+ thumbs. The frontpage has become a cesspool of reposts and faggotry, but I can't help but staying here because i've been here so long and I cant break the cycle of logging into FJ everyday. And because of the comments. The comments are pretty cool.

TLDR; **** THIS GAY EARTH.

158,758 find this **** funny? Why? Where's a punchline? Where's a setup? What the **** is even happening? If his book is locked in a classroom, why would be asking people or telling people on tumblr about it? What does he want? And why is he telling this as if its a question when its presented as a statement? Why are the keys not important? Why is this a red aslert? What's going to be vital to his quest? Why did he have the ******* keys? If the point is that he's a creeper, why is that funny at all? He's gone and the book is out I think. I don't know. He never says so whats the ******* point if he forgets? Is that a zelda reference?

This is the ******* internet. I shouldn't be thinking this hard about something this retarded

WRONG, MORON.

158758 people either liked it or reblogged it.

Meaning that someone down the line could have made a comment pointing out how **** it was and then people could have reblogged that version, meaning thousands of people could agree that it wasn't funny.

That's the joy of tumblr posts. All the notes indicate is that a certain number of people have feelings one way or the other about a post.
