damn this reminded me I haven't read a good HP fanfic for awhile now...

when they started having "characters read the book" fanfictions but instead the actual book they read a fanfiction I knew the HPfanfic community has really gone down the drain.

Rules of fanfiction
1; every character will have sex with every other character
2; every character will engage in homosexual activities, regardless of that characters inclination to engage in said behaviors
3; characters that hate each other will reveal that their hatred was really unresolved sexual tension and proceed to **** their brains out
4; authors will insert themselves into the story
5; marry and gary sue will happen. deal with it.
6; HOLY PLETHORA OF PANDERING PLOT DEVICES BATMAN
7; time travel. children will **** their parents and become their own parents.
8; characters that have no reason to go to a regular highschool will end up there. they will be regular students with nothing special about them. this will make no sense. the author will still argue about how awesome this is.
9; harems.
10; crossovers that make no sense will happen. Snape will have sex with Sephiroth. Voldemort will find the light and save Ash Ketchum from the clutches of Ganon. Link will save Hermione from being raped by Bowser.
11; as soon as you think of a premise for how a fandom could have been changed, 1000000 fanfics will have already explored it and only one of them will be good.
12; for every one good fanfiction there will be 100000 ****** ones.

I'm just gonna go on a rant on the fanfics for the Naruto-verse. I like what the creators did with the whole ninjas running around with extraordinary powers and what not. But, I'm tired of seeing fics where Naruto is a blatant Gary Sue. It's always ultimate power this and dark and brooding that. And if I had a dollar for every time he's gotten the Rinnegon or some other dojutsu, I would be a very rich man. It's the same with how many times he's actually been faking his incompetence. And don't get me started on the usual gay romance (I have nothing against gays) and time travel.
One time, I looked at the Naruto-One Piece cross-overs because I thought the idea having Luffy slingshot a Resangon-wielding-Naruto into a baddy that neither of them alone could beat to be pretty badass. I ONLY found fics involving Naruto becoming uber powerful, putting himself in suspended animation, then waking himself up when the One Piece-verse comes into play. He then precedes to **** with the plot using all manner of *****************.
When I look through plain Naruto fanfics, I have 2 in mind I really want to see: Naruto and an assortment of other characters finding themselves in World War 2, and a team of near future mercenaries finding themselves in the Naruto-verse. Is that so much to ask? Apparently it is as no one has had the creativity to do so. Now, I'm trying to write them myself to sate my want for fics that don't exist.

All I learned in sex-ed was about dicks, why I have pubes, and that it's ok if my penis isn't as big as other peoples and stuff. That was it, it was an old guy spending 20 minutes showing us some film. It was awkward, and as soon as we finished I got a book talking about dicks with diagrams and stuff. I went around at recess showing all the girls and stuff the pictures of the dicks and thinking it was the most hilarious **** to ever hit the world...I think I was retarded.

We get taught about everything related to sex in 7th grade(when you are 13 years old).
Diseases, birth, sex(including anal), puberty, differences between genders, ALL types of protection and even laws regarding it(like custody).

I was in 5th grade and all I learned about was pubes, and penis. That was basically it. Like, it just told me stuff I already knew, even about masturbation, and that was it. There wasn't a single mention of vaginas or anything else.

all sex ed was for me when i was:

They split us up into boys and girls
They talked to us about what happens when we (boys) go through puberty
what sex is
how babies are made
stds
safe sex
then they gave us a booklet, some deoderant, and we went back to class. over the course of the one 2 hour lecture thing, not once did they talk about what girls go through outside of sex and giving birth

Nope. Now that I think about it I actually don't know why we never had it in school. Sure, we had the anatomy of genitals and such in Biology but nothing more as far as I recall. I'm from Germany where every state has it's own school rules so I guess it has something to do with that

I think it's because girls on tumblr tend to be feminists and probably felt that girls have been stifled when it comes to talking about their periods and made to feel gross about it. Which I think is true, so I like that they talk about it, all power to em.
