My assumption is that they are a counter-movement with the intent of point out the flaws of Feminism extremists. Some modern feminists are even distancing themselves from the false stats and "all men are rapists" crowd so it really is a bit redundant. The over-representation of the nutjob crowd in the media has created the Meninism movement.
I like to believe this so I don't bother verifying it; That could ruin my faith in society.

Sometimes it's assholes who do it "4 teh lulz", then there are people who do it for the sake of feeling tough, and other times it's feminist extremists whose views have very minimal overlap with those of the average feminist.

My very close brother lose his rights when the crazy ******* bitch never showed up to Brandon's (my brother's) appointments to see his child, lied in court on multiple occasions, used his facebook pictures of him at drill (he serves in the military), holding a gun against him, never took the kid over to him, even when she was ordered by court, and when she was held in contempt of court MULTIPLE times. He lost his parental rights to this ******* clown. I lost my nephew to this ******* sociopath.

many of my friends's schooling is damaged by this, their personal lives too. on top of that many return home with depression. they don't get fit in there, they legit buy a lot of sweets after the days so they can cope with the hell they are forced into. sure, some enjoy it in there. many don't. people see it that as a man you "have to" go to the army or you're a pussy. my brother got a drug marking so he would avoid everything like that.
also, male rape victims are way more out there than statistics state. they will not get as much help as female victims also. like wtf, people laugh at men who are sexually abused.
I'm a female but I have been supporting male rights for a couple of years now. females have more rights in todays world than men and still complain for few sexist jokes. that needs to stop.
