People that cry "edgy" are actually just covering up for how butthurt things like this make them. I mean, I wouldn't microwave a bible, but big ******* whoop?

About as edgy as bitching about other people doing things that have nothing to do with you.

That's what this always ******* boils down to. Anything to do with religion that is even remotely critical.

"Edgy"

Then enjoy thumbs.

Care to explain how he's being critical and not just bashing religion by microwaving a bible?

Number 1, the dude is likely stoned and microwaved whatever book he found first.

Number 2, I don't really care WHY he chose the Bible. It sure as hell ain't hurting you, unless you'd like us to be more like Iran and punish people who damage holy books with blasphemy laws.

Number 3, there was no "bash" involved. For ****** sake dude. It's insulting, sure, but the guy can do what he wants with his own ****.

And Number 4, you do realize that even "bashing" is something that falls under the category or "even remotely critical"?

Number 1: assumption
Number 2: Umm no but don't you think this is being childish by microwaving a book in an attempt to get internet cred?
Number 3: You're right he wasn't even bashing religion he was just doing something insulting. That's so much better.
Number 4: No microwaving a book isn't being remotely critical.

Seriously?

1. Yes. This is an assumption. Just as much of an assumption that he did this out of spite, rather than out of indifference for what he used.

2. Also an assumption on your part. You don't know his motives any more than I do.

3. ****** sake, dude. You're gonna have to get over it. That's what it boils down to. We have laws so that this stuff is not punishable by law, even when people are offended by it.

4. You do realize I said "even remotely critical". That includes anything that is just a little bit critical and UP. That's what the word "even" means. So yes. It is.

See, this is what I mean. None of that **** occurred here. Nobody even MENTIONED atheism, and suddenly ANYTHING that COULD be anti-your religion is suddenly atheism related.

You'll do anything to try and make atheists look bad, even when they're not even ******* related. Hence the "edgy" remarks, and the fedora'd gentlemen remarks, on EVERY ******* POST like this.

But it isn't being "critical". It's microwaving a bible. There's no reason to do it, it is just edginess.

It is, I just think there´s a point when it stops being "edgyness" ana starts being giving an opinion. The guy in the content was trying to be edgy, yes, but the term "edgy" is starting to be used loosely, and anyone who uses it gets lots of thumbs just by saying it. It´s kinda stupid.

I was just agreeing with the comment.
