When they are talking about it being a choking hazard for kids they mean for kids 3 years old and under and since it's a chocolate product it's considered for kids of all ages.

There is a version of Kinder Eggs called Choco Treasures that were made in a way that is legal to be sold in the U.S.

It's called stop being a ****** parent and give your 3 year old small toys he/she will obviously put in his/her mouth and suck on and eat.

It was only banned because a mom gave her retarded (literally) son one, didn't watch him, and he choked and died. She sued and since there's an old ban about not having inedible products inside of edible ones it got banned. The Choco treasures that you're talking about is just made so the edges of the plastic toy are visible outside of the chocolate, so as to get around the ban. It's not any safer.

That's why, here in germany, the eggs have a "Warning: Only for Ages 3 and Up" lable on the eggs.
Also, our parents know what they are.

They WILL teach their children to crack the egg open, and open up the toy.

" tragic toddler who was shot dead by her five-year-old brother playing with a gun he received as a birthday present."

i mean, come on. you're going to tell me kinder eggs are illegal 'for the children' when you're giving them rifles and not even watching them when they have it

Norway has had Kinder eggs since I was 4 years old. I'm 28 now, and I've never ever heard of a "baby choked on Kinder egg toy" incident.

Because you know... a 2-3 year old can't buy his own Kinder eggs, and the adult buying it should be rational enough to not give the kid miniature toys they can choke on.

Hell, I bought Kinder eggs myself at the store at the age of 4-5 without choking on anything. I

We still have kinder surprises in New Zealand, + we have extremely more strict rules for weapons.

i still don't see whats the problem.
how about other people just take care of their children and (in this case) give their kid both halves of the chocolate egg without the yellow container?
but yeah i get it, it's never the parents fault, always someone else's
also: Germany, **** yeah
