I wonder if any identical twins have been born just before and just after midnight so they have different birthdays.

In Sweden a pair of twins were born one just before and the other just after midnight on new years eve so not only do they have different birthdays but they were also born on different years!

I was born on midnight, so it's not like it's be impossible for the same thing to happen to twins

sometimes twins can be born hours a part, i know in extreme cases, it could be an entire week

There were twins recently born on December 31st at 11:59pm and then January 1st at 12:01am. Different days, AND different years.

wow, it took two minutes for that baby to pop out?

Sounds like it'd be pretty common tbh, 24 hours a day Twins being born at an average of 17 minutes apart according to first google result because **** it I don't really care that much that's a 17 minute window per 1440 minutes a day about a 5% mean chance.

Actually cool story, here in Macedonia there was a case like that BUT with the added bonus of 1 of the twins being born on 31.12.2015 at 11.59PM and the other one on 01.01.2016 at 00:02 am. So even tho they are twins, they have different YEARS of birth.

More common than you think. My mom was a member of the Twin club, cause she had a pair of twins, and there were at lest two other moms who had twins with different birthdays.

i thought she would only have 1 twin

or maybe he said pair because there were two, sure we knew there were two but we also say a pair of shoes even if we know there are two shoes

Probably could be, I was born 4 minutes after midnight,no twins just me, so I reckon that it's completely plausible

One case just happened this year. Although it is rare, twins can be born weeks apart.

The same thing happened in Denmark as well!

It has definitely happened. The really fun cases would be the twins born in different months, and even better, different years because of the time delay. There has also been cases where they have extended differences when one twin is birthed early and the other remains in the womb to be born later.

What if a baby was born in one time zone and then they sent the woman a timezone back.... Who would be the older child?
