if people dont know. its to detonate mines. they were called the funnies, so anyone asking "where is funny" there, its right fucking there.

It was used on the beaches on Normandy to take out mines, it saved lives. If it looks stupid but it works means it isn't stupid.

This tank is at Canadian forces base Borden. It was designed as a anti minefield tank and worked on using the balls to hit the ground to stimulate the impact of a person walking to set off mines so a infantry group could walk behind it unhindered.

oh and those balls on the tank are for landmines and other explosive devices (pretty good stuff back in the day)
