I grew up a Jehovah's Witness and later converted to Catholicism, I didn't have my first birthday party, Christmas, Easter, Halloween, or any other holiday until my mother divorced my father after 18 years of elder (yep there are elders down at every kingdom hall, that's what they're called) allowed abuse at the age of 9, wasn't even allowed to watch Harry Potter, because it's demons and magic, it is a cult, a horrible cult, they believe the world should have ended in judgement like 3 times in the last 60 years, every time it doesn't happen they just push it back, my grandmother had surgery on her brain tumor and died hours later because she would not accept a blood transfusion, it is evil, plain and simple

I fucking hate when religious people are at a hospital, doctors save their lives with surgery and everything. And then afterwards they go "I thank the lord for saving me.".
When I was 8 I was in hospital for 10 weeks on the brink of death, god didn't save me, if anything (and if that fucker exists), he brought the whole thing onto me. The doctors saved my life and fixed what they could, god didn't do shit.
