First, it's mars, and there is now a total of 4 rovers plus a few landers. Sijourner landed in 1997 and ended after three months when its battery died. Spirit and Opportunity were sent in 2003, Spirit got stuck in 2009 and last communication was in 2010. Opportunity is still active today and is now thirty times past its planned mission length. Curiosity is the most advanced, having nearly 9 years of technological advancement on Spirit and Opportunity and it touched down on the planet last Sunday.

There are two rovers on mars. Im pretty sure both of them have been shut down.

But years ago, the two of them did meet.
