Dude wtf, that is not a voltage divider. There are no capacitors or diodes to make it that way. The current goes threw the wire instead of the resistor since electricity follows the easiest path back to ground or negative since the wire has basically o ohms. It goes threw the wire instead of the resistor thus the saying resistance is futile
