Well, you still have to find a wormhole if they exist in space or make one if there isn't, and then you have to find a way to keep the wormhole open long enough to not crush whatever goes through it, not to mention the incredible radiation inside of it, and then the wormhole will have to open where you want it and not like inside a star or next to a black hole. Not to mention the infinite amount of time eras the wormhole will send you through.

We don't know if closing a wormhole will crush you. It's a passage through the fourth dimension aka time(as far as our speculations go, bit like the picture as OP posted it).

When that passage closes then you would be 'crushed' by 2 layers of complete void(not actual, it's actually dark energy ór other forms of yet unexplained energy). You would get stuck somewhere inbetween something we don't know about.
