no, the shuttle program was retired and the Ares project was scrapped, but NASA is still doing good, with alot of missions happening as we speak

******* awesome. It's time Humanity as a whole started looking much more seriously toward space travel. Nothing against Earth- it's great and all, honest, I love it here- but there are so much more possibilities once we can free ourselves of Earth's hold for good. It just makes me sad to realize that I will probably never see more than the very beginning of this before I die.

Carl Sagan once said "all civilizations either become space faring, or extinct." and it is 100% true, if we don't blow ourselves up or kill the planet, the sun inevitably will a few billion years down the road, not to mention the numerous hazards flying through space that could blow us to **** any day, look up star WR-104, what it could do to earth is scary as hell, and humans need to spread out to other planets to better ensure survival, cause right now, we only exist here, and if earth gets asteroid ****** , or nailed with a gamma ray burst, or something else, that means no more humans anywhere for the rest of time, our time would be done for good. we need to expand to ensure our survival, it is a necessity
