What's up with all those culture-optimistic posts in the last two days? What happened to the good ol' pessimism? Has anything happened? Do we have to be looking forward to the future?

More information available to us, now, than the president of the United States did...
Yeah, suuuuuuuuuuuuuuure, we really, really do... And that's why that soldier was sentenced to life for disclosing information on the military. It's not like anyone could have typed in Google "Secrets of US military" and come up with the same thing.
I know what you're trying to convey, but seriously, we know a small % of what the government knows.

A future where robots do everything sounds a bit scary actually...
#12 - ferrum (04/03/2013) [+] (4 replies)
A question, tho. What will happen when robots will work instead of doctors and nurses? What will happen, when people will have no jobs because robots will do everything? Will money become worthless, or the poor will be killed off, while the rich robot company owners will lay back and relax?

It amsuing how people put a large dense green forest image with wording/infomation about "clean air" or "reduced co2". Plants need co2 to survive, so more co2 more plants, balancing out the so called "green house effect"
