Gases are actually fluids. Just like water.

You can float anything on a fluid, as long as you're less dense than it (buoyant).

In this case, air is less dense than SF6, so the boat full of air floats on it. He then sinks the boat by pouring SF6 into it.

Lol Gases are not liquids. There are three forms elements can be in (four if you count plasma) Liquid, gasses, and solid. saying a that gas is a liquid cause some things can float on it is like saying solid is a liquid cause you can stand on it.

liquid and fluid are two different meanings. both gases and liquids are considered to be fluids.
