Because last I checked, we don't have a shortage of water or extreme humidity levels, and we'd rather fund more useful projects, like alternative energy and landing on Mars.

Uhm, the posts states that there was a shortage of clean water in the area, i dont know if this is the most effective way of doing it. But if it is, then its definitly something that will spread quickly

That's in Peru. OP lives in the US. It's not going to be needed here anytime soon.

True, but if we can found this, it might be able to help alot of people and improve life quality for alot of humans. We still help the people we fucked over during the colonial era, this might be an efficient way to do so

No, but i still find your lack of logic disturbing.

Then, you're not just wrong, you're stupid. Go pick up a logic book before you try using it in a sentence.

You're saying we shouldnt fund research about this because? No? Yeah, that does make alot of sense, people all over the world dying cause theres no clean water but something that might help them get clean water nope, because the reason no

lol ok. You didn't get any humor in my curt response, I understand. We don't need to add any funding to this because we're already in serious financial trouble and it doesn't benefit us at all. That kind of research is something that UTEC needs to do, not us. I didn't mean to call you stupid, I read that off a crackerjack box.

Well that the economy atm is seriously fucked up, no doubt. Im still pretty sure theres alot of US tax dollars going to charity, then again when it comes to economy its like quantum physics. Dont pretend you really understand it, nobody really does.

I hardly doubt it would cost much to fund this aswell though, research is always going to be needed and cutting spending on research in the long term is just bad in all scenarios

I'm not talking about the economy, I'm talking about government spending. It's not a mystery, we're spending more than we're making. Simple. And, this benefits us none. Why do you want to spend money frivolously?

water isn't a renewable energy.. resource maybe, but not energy

Can't tell if joking. It's not. The Earth has a limited supply of water. And again, it doesn't matter, we have plenty of water.

what epic anon said. Using this process it becomes renewable, and only about 15% of the worlds water is drinkable.

>Water is pulled from air
>Air = Oxygen
>Plants take in Carbon Dioxide and release said oxygen with said water molecules in it
