Well that the economy atm is seriously fucked up, no doubt. Im still pretty sure theres alot of US tax dollars going to charity, then again when it comes to economy its like quantum physics. Dont pretend you really understand it, nobody really does.

I hardly doubt it would cost much to fund this aswell though, research is always going to be needed and cutting spending on research in the long term is just bad in all scenarios
