Except so far the refugees that have arrived have had roughly the same literacy level on average as other refugees.

When people do videos like this, they really need to check their facts.
User avatar #28 to #2 - klick (12/24/2015) [-]
Have the refugees been allowed to go to school?
User avatar #40 to #28 - theruinedsage (12/24/2015) [-]
They have in my country, far as I know.

Heard of schools for children awaiting asylum or visa, don't remember which though, several times.

I agree with both you and the video.
He is right, we should help, but his points are bs.

It's not about the amount of muslims, it's about our countries being cucks to them and adapting to every single of their needs even if it is in disfavor for it's citizens.

If they are so educated, why do I only see so few actually take initiative to work?
I know there are some who started seeking asylum and started careers in workshops and whatnot, but that's not a big part of them.

And oh boy, I guess I just imagined all those reports about raping, honorkilling their daughters and throwing rocks at policemen in Hungary. This is just what I could recall from the top of my head.

Not all of them are bad though but this guy should not try to show it off like they are all innocent and nice.

So if Ahmed wants to hit on my girl, he should hit the employment market first.

Well when people do videos like this they usually cite their sources.

Do you have a citation of source for that fact? Or are you just a internet whiner who believes things on facebook and relays them? that wasn't an insult. More of a chance to prove your self.

While the "refugees are nice to have" is not objective (just his opinion) the rest of the video sums the history of the crisis pretty well.

I also don't think getting refugees will do any good for the country (I'm danish aswell), but these people have been through alot. They fled from a truly corrupt system, and they want democracy and freedom instead.
We can give them that. We can teach them our values, our moral towards work and towards other people.
They're asking for help, and even though it might cost us money and stability in our country, i believe we can overcome it.

They're not shopping for a country with the most benefits, when they walk all the way through europe. They just want to find the best country for their kids to grow up in. The one with the best values, so they don't have to live in a crazy corrupt country.

You know, this whole syrian civil war started when Assad tortured some kids for doing grafiti that was critical of the government. No wonder they wanna leave!

I agree with that, the point of my post was simply to say "Get your damn facts straight when you are doing informational videos"
#62 to #61 - mrdth ONLINE (12/25/2015) [-]
I totally agree with that. I mean, in what world would it be a plus to get poor people from a completely different culture to flee to your country. It just won't, ever.
Also, ofc they can't uphold the danish standard of education. We're extremely well educated.

User avatar #19 to #4 - lotengo ONLINE (12/24/2015) [-]
You can see his sources for the refurgie crisis in the description on youtbue.
He uses wikipedia as as source, twice.
And for some crime stat he uses a Turkish source. Since Turkey is close to their original culture they will behave when they are there, that souce is not valid for West-European countries
#21 to #19 - Desdenne (12/24/2015) [-]
I know, and thats fair. Im saying they did have sources, and the person who i commented on had a strong opinion and didn't have one. Im willing to even accept that commenters opinion with a source.

Too many people have strong opinions while not really knowing what they are talking about or giving proof . ^^ They disagreed with something that cited sources by using an opinion with out a source. I know I got thumbed down, but I like validation .
#39 to #21 - theruinedsage (12/24/2015) [-]
Next time, just use this image

The one refugee video they made used a lot of statistics that could only be applied to mexican immigrants going into the US.
User avatar #8 - stilch (12/24/2015) [-]
The one about immigrants being more eager to help society and hold down jobs is completely true.
When talking about Mexico to United States immigration.
Middle East to Europe immigration can say no such thing. I would even dare to say that a correlation exists between increasing Syrian refugee numbers and rising crime rates.
#48 to #8 - anon (12/24/2015) [-]
Prove it.
User avatar #60 to #48 - stilch (12/24/2015) [-]
He cited his sources for the video sloppily, so it took a good amount of time to read through all the articles.
www.economist.com/blogs/democracyinamerica/2015/07/immigration-and-crime
That is the source he used for his assertion that the Syrian immigrants are here to help. This study and group of studies clearly talks about Mexico -> US immigration only.

Most of these "facts" are feel-good opinion pieces or unproven theories. I've always hated that addiction one because it's just bloody wrong, while morphine and heroin are very similar, they are different in that heroin DOES have chemically addictive hooks whereas morphine does NOT. Yes, addiction can come from poor environments and the mental side of things, but not all addictions happen this way.

Notice how marijuana addiction after use is rare, while heroin addiction is extremely common after use.

**** whoever made these things, they need to fact check their **** .

I'll need you to elaborate further on these "feel-good opinions" and "unproven theories" that you mentioned in regards to the 2 physics videos. (Mini-black hole, What is light). What is exactly an opinion / unproven theory in those?
#51 to #13 - anon (12/24/2015) [-]
Both are addictive. Heroin is an ester of morphine that breaks down into morphine activating the same opioid receptors associated with opioid addiction. Besides that, indeed mostly idealistic feel-good stuff.

When I was in the infantry in the army, I shot meth and heroin (go figure a lot of my fellow soldiers did too). I shot dope till my veins rotted and the only reason I stopped was because I got out and got to a place where I didn't feel like I needed it anymore. I know tons of people like me.

Also, heroin addiction isn't as common after use as you think. Meth, probably.

You can suck my ass with your regressive views on addiction.
#52 to #13 - klille ONLINE (12/24/2015) [-]
"they are different in that heroin DOES have chemically addictive hooks whereas morphine does NOT. "

this is outright false, the only chemical difference is that heroin is less water-soluble than morhpine, this means that it passes trough the blood-brain barrier easier and thus hits quicker and harder, but lasts shorter. Besides dosage there is NO difference in effect, infact after it's been absobred it loses it's anti-water-solubility and literally becomes morhpine

How this channel works. Take the addiction video for example

Apple=Cyanide
Maby people say you die from eating cyanide. But in apple seeds there's also cyanide. So from tests on people eating apples you can clearly see that they don't die form eating a apple. So cyanide death is just totaly fake.Cyanide is just apple seeds with some ''bad stuff'' in it. Apple=Cyanide

This channel also loves to leave out information. Like the refugee video.

Hitler was a nice person.
Hitler loved animals
Hitler started one of the first anti smoking campaign.
Other people did not like hitler. But hitler just wanted germany to be good again. He got germany out of a economic dissaster.
So if you say hitler is bad you're a NAZI/RACIST/BIGOT/ISLAMOPHOBE/ZIONIST/CIS SCUM...

Leaving out important information is the same as missinformation. This youtube channel is total bias propaganda ******** .
