Question for all you scientists out there:
Why is the universe cooling down? Isn't everything in the universe slowly converting to heat energy, hence the heat death of the universe theory? I mean, if everything, all energy and mass, is slowly changing to heat, shouldn't the general temperature of the universe be going up?

There's a certain amount of energy in the universe. The amount is always the same, as energy cannot be created nor destroyed. The universe is said to be expanding at a very quick rate, so that energy is probably being "stretched thin." I'm not a scientist though, just giving you my thoughts on the subject.
