god is not real. religion is a big joke.

You serious right now mate? Bet if someone told you that you don't have any proof of God existing you would say, "I don't need proof that's why it's called faith."

Then you turn around a second later and tell the person who believes in evolution that they don't have proof that evolution is true and for you to believe them you need proof?

What really keeps me going, is what God has done for me in my life. I have seen, heard, and read about why and how evolution is not even possible. I urge you to look this up by yourself, I am no Dr. , no need to get hostel XD . It's best not to assume what I would think and do. Look up Walter Veith Genesis Conflict on youtube. He is a well learned Dr. and has it explained out very well

you know, i'd rather believe that we adapted, or evolved into these forms through billions of years, than believe that it was all just poofed here

I'm christian myself but believe in evolution. I mean, to be honest we see it all around us all the time. (Example) During the industrial evolution, tree bark turned black from the toxins. The moths, within a short period of time, adapted and through survival of the fittest etc, they evolved to be dark in color. Now, it wasn't evolution exactly, but it's just one example and proof of how we can see natural selection and evolution around us. (End example)

However, I feel it'd be perfectly natural for God (or a god, if you believe in a different one) to create evolution and set it in motion. I do trust in my heart that God (or a god) is out there with his hand at work in our world, but I also feel that his hand is what started evolution in the first place.

I try to keep an open mind about things, just wish others would do the same and not treat religion as black and white.

i try to keep an open mind too, but i'm usually drawn to the atheist side, instead of agnostic, but the thought has occured to me, if there is a god, what if he created evolution.

There's this one theory I used to wonder about when I was younger called the "watchmaker" theory. It states that perhaps God created the world, then set it aside to develop and grow on its own, like a watch, just ticking away by itself until, eventually, it runs down.
