are you sure.. because the structure is pretty much the same except for a small bend but since it only has singel bondings that bend won't really make much difference it's both c-c-c-c

Possibly rubbing alcohol? Same deal my science project was, and my dad had me use rubbing alcohol and after you poured in a little bit, you spun the jar around to get it to a thin layer, that way the vapor burns quickly but will last a few moments before it burns out all the way.

Also, Methanol can be used. Just as rubbing alcohol can. You pour a little in, and rotate the jug around to coat it all, then the oxygen will allow the vapor off the methanol to ignite when the source is provided (the match).

op here. Its methanol but it has to be let alone and become a vapor first because the vapors are heavier than air and burn down then it causes a vaccume that allows oxygen to flow behind it so the fire will be sustained.

You ever heard that any substance can be liquid, solid or gas in right conditions. Yes in NTP(normal temperature and pressure=100 000 Pa =1 Bar pressure and 0 Cº temperature) methanol is liquid but we don't know the circumstances with the system in question

me and my friends did this on accident once. well something close to this. we sprayed axe into a gallon sized bottle and lit it on fire. what happened is the rim of the bottle caught fire then it appeared the fire literally dropped into the bottle. it hit the bottom and appeared to go out. then in about 3 seconds the whole inside caught fire and the fire went right through the top. it was probably the coolest thing ive ever done . pic related, mfw.
