I kind of relate to this. When I was young used to be curious about everything, and then one day I realized that curiosity and eagerness to learn was almost gone. Besides growing up, I think it's because school took up so much time, and doesn't actually encourage learning or thinking. I'm trying to rekindle my curiosity by pursuing any question that comes to me.
Schools (at least American ones) are pretty ****** . Somewhat off topic, but I think it's sad how many people know so little about their computers and how they work (including me). It's not like not knowing how your toaster works, you can get into some pretty deep **** if you can't defend yourself against cyber attacks. This is something we should learn in schools. It would actually be useful.
