1) if you're whatever kind of christian, you have to believe in bible because bible is the "word of god" and thus it's true.
2) bible states clearly that the world was created and even if we could theoretically argue, that the "days" mentioned in genesis aren't the actual days (but they ARE and you can see it if you read it in the original language and understand the background of ancient jewish symbolism), the whole creation story is still full of shit, that could not have been happened even if we really try to reconcile it with what science knows.
so, every religious christian either supports a total bullshit fairy-tale or is a heretic ;-)

Creationists believe everything is constantly being created by a Super Being. Like for example: "Tomorrow, there will be 100 new born butterflies, and a new wolf".
