A. The cube has zero momentum. Although I'm not sure if portal momentum has anything to do with it.

The portal cannot have momentum.
It is a hole. Holes are the absence of things, and thus have no mass. momentum is given by p=mv, if m is zero: p=(0)v. So no matter how fast the portal is traveling, it cannot have momentum, and the block will simply fall out the other portal.

Forgot that portals are destroyed if the surface they are on moves around. What you said didn't even matter but it was interesting anyway :P

sorry, but in portal 2 you destroy the toxin thingy and you have to do this by placing portals on moving platforms...

I thought about bringing that up, but by the time I was done physicsing I had forgotten as well.
