If space is a vacuum, then why don't all the all the planets and stars and **** collide into each other to make a huge mass of wtf?

Because gravity is effecting everything.

Imagine I'm pulling a string, at the end is a washer tied to it, you are pulling another string on the opposite side, tied to the same washer. The washer stays in the middle because of the two equal forces.

This as far as I understand gravity, google it if you want to know more.
