***** , the largest flower in the world is the rafflesia.
It also smells like rotten meat and can get like, 6 feet wide.

And yes, it is the thing on Vileplume's head.

Mautam (or bamboo death) is a phenomenon that occurs every 48 years in the northeastern Indian states of Mizoram and Manipur (which are covered by 30% bamboo forests apparently) all the bamboo plants flower and then die. every one!

the problem with this though is the excess of seeds creates a rat problem where rats feast on these seeds, which increases their population drastically which creates a resulting famine.

i saw a corpse flower bloom once. it actually didn't smell as bad as i thought it would. i was expecting a nauseating, dry-heaving stink of the gods, but it just kinda smelled like body odor. huge letdown.

There is no conspiracy or lunacy in companies spending money to maintain the status quo, trying to deter use of competing products, or lobbying for proposals that favor them. It is a reality of the business world, and to say otherwise is to be blind.

An average of 150 or less? That doesn't seem like very helpful information. Is it 140? 10? 0?

Anybody remember Gardening with Maurice, when they read the last one? "The Amorphophohallus Titanium, the rare botanical wonder. See his 8 foot protrusion as he pollinates on everyone" "But why does it stink so bad?" "It's about marking your territory. Pee on the door of your office, just see if anybody even comes near you"
