ISIL is the division of ISIS that broke off from the fighting in Syria to go **** stuff up in Iraq.

I'm curious - my fellow Amerifags would never admit this, but is it common knowledge up in the Great White North that the U.S. created and is funding ISIS and ISIL?

This is what my ******* tax money is going to... and all i can do is comment about it on FJ.

It is. We also know about your Governments past "relationships" with the Taliban, Mujahideen, the Anti-Sandanistas, Castro, Noriega... the list goes on. If I were you, I would think about putting a leash and a muzzle on your foreign aid and funding department, as they obviously have a piss poor standard for the evaluation of who they should back in a foreign crisis.

Heh.. or worse... they're intentionally backing whoever lets them park the latest Multinational Corporation in said country, regardless of quality of life, or Justice.

Confessions of an Economic Hitman broke this whole thing open for me, then War is a Racket.

Sad... just sad. Our country was supposed to be (and was, fro a while) a beacon of Justice and productivity... and we've slipped back into being like any other Monarchy in history. Gotta find a way to stop this...

I can't help but feel that this terrorist organization is slowly building up to a future war that sounds like a video game:

The terrorist group Isis is threatening to bring harm to the world!

It is up to the private military organization Titan Corporation to stop this. And the man they choose for the job, is *player*

But, one obstacle also faces this new task, the evil rival company of DynCorp that is dead set on stopping you from saving the world.

Machine guns, unlike assault rifles, are not precision weapons.

An LMG fighters (or, in his case, MG fighters) job is to provide suppressive fire from the most advantageous position on the battlefield.

I was an LMG fighter in the Finnish defense forces (wielding a PKM), and one of the things that we were told was that once your squad opens fire, you shoot even if you don't see anyone. This is because LMG's, and more importantly machine guns, are ******* scary. You are forcing the enemy to stay still/down, merely by firing at their general direction, because only an idiot would charge head first towards a hail of bullets.
War isn't about individual kill count. Imagine engaging the enemy, expecting them to be just regular footmen, when suddenly you hear a 50 cal machine gun shooting at your squad from god knows where with no armored vehicles or MG-nests in sight. That's something that will force your whole group to stop, and allow the enemy to retreat with minimal casualties.

Shooting is not the problem here. What the problem is that he is clumsy. One of the key things about the way talibans fight is retreating. Open fire -> 1 minute of firefighting -> retreat -> next ambush. That guy is not going to be able to do any of that **** because running with that thing is far too slow and exhausting, no matter how big and strong you are.

They have two heists you have to pay for. Transport, which includes 5 missions, and Big Bank, which is currently the biggest job in the game. The rest of the heists are updated for free.

I agree that the DLC part is ****** up, but this is a game that I've played for about 150 hours and I'm still not tired of it. As opposed to many other games I pay 50€ for and enjoy for like 20 hours tops. There is plenty of replayability, at least. And you can just buy the base game for 28€, there is still plenty to do with that.

Sure, but look at it this way, there are many games, that did not sell as highly as payday 2, and yet they can put out content updates for free, I'm talking about stuff like FLT, Terraria etc. And those were Indie devs, that in theory should try to take as much money from people as they can, but they are not doing that. I say no to milking your player base like that, that's all.

Those games hardly involve costs.

When Overkill releases a DLC, it comes with voice acting, trailers, detailed masks, weaponry, and other stuff that takes time to release. Making something in FLT is so easy you can just mod it. Making meshes and so forth with PD is a lot worse.

PAYDAY is not an indie game. They build a lot of attention around the trailers, and they get lots of praise, even from people who don't buy the DLCs. You can argue all you want, but you haven't even played PAYDAY 2. It's a huge difference from the first one, and that's, something you realize when you play it, not when you look at price tags. Indie games are cheap because the production is cheap.

Oh and forgot to add, how come Ubisoft is capable of releasing a huge stand alone add-on (Blood Dragon), for just half the price? To an AAA game! While the non-free dlcs for PD2 are just a small fraction of the whole game.

If you just read my other comments, you would know that I DID play Payday 2, a whole lot of it, on my friend's account. And surely you're not trying to tell me, that I should kiss their feet, for making a sequel an improvement on the first game, that's a given. And whilst the game expanded a whole lot, the harsh truth is, there weren't that many unique heists to begin with, either small ones like jewelry store / bank heist, or reused locations in the big oil / rats, can't remember the rest of the maps.
That actually was a pretty disappointing discovery, they advertised a ton of different heists, but apparently they included pro jobs, as a completely separate heist, instead of just a mere variation of it. Soon after we realized the easiest heists to speed run and farm in-game currency, because other's just weren't worth the time and risk associated with them, those needed a rebalance in a major way. Soon after we just got bored of it.

It doesn't really matter if they're an indie company or not, or more like, since they're not indie, they've earned a ton more money, which is good don't get me wrong, but milking the player base is just a terrible practice imo. Look at it this way, the game costs 28 euro, while the dlcs cost a huge 39 euro. Are you really trying to tell me, that 2 new heists, couple weapon / mod packs and a soundtrack, costed them over 33% more than the whole game to develop? This is just plain unacceptable ******** for me.

6 heists. 12 weapons. 20 mods.

And you can still play the heists if you have a friend to host it. You can still use grenades if someone gets the grenade case asset. Buying the DLCs is optional. Come back when you have an argument. You keep changing them according to what I say, where you first claim there are 10+ DLCs (When in reality it's 5), and that there are no free heists. Now you're bummed about the prices, apparently. What you fail to see is that an assload of free stuff keeps coming.

Also, Blood Dragon was 30€ at release, and held about 10 hours of gameplay. I've spent more time doing Armored Transport heists than that, and I barely even play those. And that DLC pack was 8€.

Dude, 6 heists, 12 weaps and 20 mods are not worth MORE than a full price AAA release, that's it, they are ******* not. If you have to fight so much, so you don't feel bad about throwing your wallet at them, I won't stop you, but I value my hard earned money enough, to realize that it's bs.

The full DLCs are like 30€, not 50-60€, as AAA titles are. But whatever floats your boat. There aren't many who complain about it.

Full DLCs are 39euro, you can buy starcraft 2 for 30 euro...

Also, the vanilla PD2 has more than 6 heists, 12 weapons and 20 mods, in addition to that the whole game engine? all of the assets? And still it costs less than those DLCs. Please explain to me, how on earth are those more valuable than the whole game (which in sum has way more than what those DLCs have to offer).

Starcraft 2 was 60€ when it was released. If you buy the games + DLC's now, it's about 19€ if you don't count the newest one, as there's a massive sale on the game. Get absolutely everything, and you'd pay 26€. Maybe that suits you better, because if you strike now you have the opportunity to get a game half price an AAA title.

As for price against base game, the DLCs are newer than the game itself. As the base game's price has dropped, the same will happen with the DLC. The DLC's may not make up for the entire base game, but that has never happened anyway. Even in the golden days of DLC most of the huge expansion packs involved a few units and new missions, while most of the game was based on existing material. (Empire Earth: Art of Conquest and Heroes 3: Armageddon, for example).

I really don't see the sense in arguing with you. If you're that hostile to Overkill, it's better that you just leave the game alone instead of buying the game and making it worse for everyone else. Nobody cares, buy what you want. There's no obligation in buying it, and those who play the game are happy about it. And if they're not, they get friends who have the heists and still play them. As opposed to most other map packs, where you have to buy the actual product to play it.

Hey bro, just found this on dailies: Train Simulator 2014, go check it up on steam, see how much the game costs, see how many dlc's have been released and their cost. THIS is what I am against.

Train Simulator is just plain BS. And you're not supposed to buy all of them, only those that you want. Keep in mind that the full game is well over 50 GBs, despite having mediocre graphics.

That's the point, the ones that are worth it, are not free, and they cost waaaay too much, I could buy a whole lot of games for that money.

how are they too much there like 6 bucks at most. compare it to ANY triple A game and most of them are like 15 bucks i mean really you are gonna sit there and say 6 BUCKS is not worth big bank or any other DLC and there are FACE HATS WITH DLC how you gonna say that face hats aren't worth all of your money.

Why are you comparing it to a triple A game, which it's not. Also not 6 bucks, 6 euro, look up the exchange rates, for 6 euro you can buy a fully priced game, don't ******* tell me a should've been free update is worth more than a full game.

dude i have like 211 hours in this game and i can't complain the DLC is fantastic and with this new DLC that's coming out we get old Hoxton back so i'm happy. i'm just saying that the game is good at a base level but the DLC is great too.

(Hoxton was left behind on a mission don't know which one.)
