mate, I hate to tell you this, but.... Psychotic guys will always find some kind of weapon if they want it, I hear of a guy killing 5 people with a katana before he was killed by police. In Britain apparently its popular for hoodlums to make their own BB guns and kill people with those, since there are no handguns in Britain for the most part.

People intent on killing will find ways. That and pretty much anything can in theory be used as a weapon.

By that logic we should make EVERYTHING legal. If someone is desperate enough they will acquire it anyways so why not just give up, right?

I hate it when people make the argument "well then lets make everything legal" or "Well if 2nd amendment is true lets have missile launchers"

It is NEVER a black or white answer to any question, so why would this be different?

Again, my belief is that the 2nd Amendment allows citizens to own, maintain, and purchase handguns, rifles, and shotguns for their self defense, food gathering, and in case of emergencies.

I dont try to state that every variant of firearms should be legal, such as mini-guns or full auto shotguns and rifles, there is no legitimate reason for someone to need an AA-12 where that an AR-15 or Glock 21 could not handle.
