R.I.P. Josie (read desc.)

Hi FJ.

So, my cat Josie was put down today. It was very sudden and unexpected, as she was less than a year old.
We found her and three of her brothers after they were abandoned in the wild. I raised her from kittenhood, all the way to her jumpy, weedy 9 month year old self. I was playing a football match today, and my brother called me to give me the news. I couldn't be there to say goodbye, so in her honour I ask you, my fellow Funnyjunkers to post your best cat gifs, that she may live on in cyber-glory.

TL;DR My cat died, post your best cat gifs.

Thanks, Dzubelyu

aww. It's sucks to lose a pet. Just last month I lost my dachshund buddy (on the left). He lived a 16 year life and the only thing that got the better of him was age. Pepper (one year old dog on the right) has been a train wreck since then and has wanted constant attention.

I know that feeling. (Actually, no I don't.)

My parents are cat people, so we've had cats as long as I can remember. This is Tartine, our first cat. She died last summer due to a heart condition that I didn't know about, but my mom did. She never told me. Tartine was about ten when she died. The really sad part is, the whole family was away on vacation and it was the gardeners who found her dead in the backyard and they just threw her away. When I was told, I really couldn't stop crying and I felt like **** because she was the cutest cat ever. Everyone loved her (even though she hated anyone who didn't have food for her.) What really amazed me about her is that, like I said, we'd had her since I was little, and a little kid doesn't know how to treat a cat. I'd pet her too forcefully and in the wrong direction and grab her by the tail and pull her back if she tried to run away. And yet, as time wore on, she didn't hate me as I thought she would. In fact, she seemed to love me the most (if I do say so myself...) During the winter, when it was cold outside, she'd sleep inside and she'd almost always sleep in my bed. It was the cutest thing ever, she'd knead on the blankets, my arms, my stomach, anthing that seemed remotely fluffy. On more than one occasion she would keep me up by kneading and scratching (she wasn't declawed) my cheek. I'd get a bit frustrated, but I'd never hit her, knowing how I'd treated her as a child. I'd just pet her a bit, then start to fall back asleep. I loved her so much it was so hard to spend the winter alone at night. And I feel like absolute **** that this is the only picture I have to remember her by. The only other ones were taken when I was really little.

Ummm... I don't care, and if you really did, you wouldn't whore his death out for digital thumbs on the internet.

On a brighter note, check this cute little ****** ! My buddy got a 10 week old staffie last week and seen as she works a lot I get to dog sit! I have always wanted a dog but can't get one due to my mum being allergic, so I kinda just count this wee bastard as my new best buddy! Her name mMillie if anyone's wondering....

My cat died a week ago tomorrow, and left two 1 1/2 week old kittens. She died from complications from giving birth (she may have had more kittens in her). It was her 5th litter, and has never had a girl, which is very rare. Poor ole' Pip.

Meet Teddy, he was about 7 months old and I only got to have him for 3 days before I found him on my front lawn, half eaten by a hawk. I had him at a friend's house since he was born there until I could arrange for him to come to my house. I loved Teddy dearly and having to bury him looking the way he did was too much for someone to have to do..
