well... it's not OC... I mean yeah they're original bits, but it's not like he tries hard for this site. I'm just throwing that out there.

Exactly how much harder am I supposed to try for this site?

I feel the same way about this as aerosol. I don't think you're supposed to do anything. I think all of your bits are really good, but I guess the thing that makes me averted to them is something I can't explain. It's a weird bias I have towards comedy, I have a certain taste when it comes to that.
That doesn't really matter though to be honest, I think you're doing a good job as far as exposing your stuff to the public goes. So I'm sorry if it came off like I was berating you for that.

I think I know what you're trying to explain. I do it too sometimes; I feel the need to critique comedy. It's not like I have any disrespect towards the people who make it. I guess I just really want it to be as good as possible, because that works out well for pretty much everybody. I know not everybody appreciates criticism, but it really can be helpful when it's done properly. You know what I mean?

yes, I'm glad you know what I mean. I think it's because I get connected to comedians, for instance George Carlin (a little) and Louis CK (a lot) so it's a specific type of comedy that I latch on to and I get ahead of myself sometimes and critique it assuming I know good comedy.
One thing that made me kind of meh about this was hearing the audio clips and for some reason the bits didn't click with me like they did when I read them, I don't know what it is but I thought it was worth mention.

I felt the same way about the audio clips. I don't know much about comedy either, but I was just hoping for a little bit more energy or perhaps urgency in that bit.
That topic aside, I definitely connect with comedians as well. Louis CK is one of my favorites. His material, though more on the suggestive side, just seems so authentic and passionate. It's almost like he's not even reciting the material, but just having a one-sided conversation with the audience. He's just a naturally funny guy and I think that earns him a lot of fans.

yeah I totally agree, one of the main reasons I'm as big of a fan as I am is the fact that I think he deserves his fame fully, just being the person he is and putting ideas out there that we tend to put aside and not talk about.

Thanks to thepandaking and to aerosol for taking the ime to listen to the audio. Sorry, it wasn't you're thing. I do appreciate the feedback. I think I'm doing pretty well considering I'm coming up on my one year anniversary as a comedian, but I have a tremendously long way to go if I want celebrity status. I'm a big fan of Louis CK myself. I think he's the only real superstar we have in comedy today. There's a lot of comedians who are good, but few who are truly great.

that's good to hear, I'm glad to hear stand up is still a popular theater outlet and that you're enjoying it, but for the most part I say keep up the good work, I genuinely mean what I say as constructive criticism though I don't quite know how to explain the criticism I have :/

Hey do whatever you want, man. You're the one taking the time to write and post this stuff. It's not like we're entitled to funny content, especially if we lack the will to make it ourselves. Moreover, I'm glad there are people willing to take time out of there day just to make some people laugh. That may seem insignificant to some, but I appreciate that type of effort.
