All these people saying "Furries" this n "Furries" That

Furries ain't the problem. Its a loud Autistic part of their community called "Otherkin"

What are otherkin:
They are furries, that actually BELIEVE they are their characters. If anything they are the ones "Yiffing" in their fursuits.

I think TV shows like CSI etc have left a rather bad taste in peoples mouth with furries when they're normal people like everyone else. The reason "Furries" make so much porn is- Porn sells. And that is all A LOT of Furaffinity artists care about, They make porn, to get more views, and sell more commissions for 30-60$ a pop. If i remember right there's only a few Furartists that refuse to do porn at all so they of course are no where near the "Top" users. But still manage to deliver a cute story or a funny joke (Such as the Cheetah officer if anyone remembers her)

But yeah, there is a lot of "Furry" Films as pointed out by #74 so who cares? Just enjoy the movie. I'm actually more excited about this movie than star wars.

Them bunny thighs tho..

I'm guessing the same thing they do with any subculture they dont really get (Like Gamers, anime/comic book fans etc) and only foucus on the really ****** negative stereo types of that subculture All (Gamers kill because they're confusing real life with games, an anime fan calling his companion pillow his "waifu" etc)

Otherkin are a whole box of actual crazy. Those of us who have any sense avoid them like the plague. I judge them pitiful.

Besides, people should leave us alone about the furry stuff. Anthropomorphic animals have been around for a very long time. It is just easier to see our perversion when it's plastered across the internet.

I don't get what the problem is either. Depicting animals or living things with human qualities and behaviour has been happening for a pretty long time, like since Aesop or Jean de la Fontaine. There have been countless books, comics, TV shows, movies, games etc. with a personified animal companion with a specific type of animal usually representing some specific trait. Only recently has it become a thing to hate on these.
Yes, I agree with deluding retarded tumblrettes about their confused identities and I admit I am disgusted with people who have a furry fetish but hating on basically anything that at some point depicts an animal with human traits is just nonsensical to me. Like, what's next? Banning Winnie the Pooh or Calvin&Hobbes for "furries"? That's bullcrap, fam.

you have a good point mang, but some of the top users from what I've seen mainly focus on fetish art. I did some field research and there's this inflation fetish thing.

People have hated furries since before ptherkin were ever a thing

Furries are most definitely the problem still, as far as those people who say so are concerned

Exactly... as someone who used to call himself "furry" Don't anymore for obvious reasons. It was a way for me to ignore my social awkwardness when I was younger and confused about myself, and just be "me". But once I accepted myself for who I was, I didn't need an alternate persona anymore.
