For the people calling her an attention whore... The only reason she's GETTING attention is because YOU don't approve of what she's wearing. In any case, you don't necessarily have a say in what any does/wears and if it's not causing direct harm to you, the people around you, or the environment, I don't understand the problem you have with it. Society is taking a step back, I mean I have to flip my septum up just to go to an interview or they think I'm disgusting for having a piercing, I really don't understand why people are so superficial still, you see it everywhere "Be yourself" and yet the very companies who publicize this message have the cookie cutter teens working for them, because they're scared of anyone that's not doing the same thing and wearing Hollister, or American Eagle.

If you dress like a clown, expect people to laugh at you

I'd rather dress in a way that makes me happy than spend my life crying if my clothes aren't accepted by strangers.

What the **** is wrong with our country? Kids dress like ******* idiots because their mommy didn't pay enough attention to them and now everyone is pussified and doesn't want their poor wittle sensitive kids to be bullied.

Or how about that person just likes to dress that way and is actually nice and these people are her friends. Oh, would you look at that, I was able to like a nice picture without criticizing a country where I can get everything I could ever want.

When I was a freshman in high school I had long shaggy hair that would become wavy as I let it grow out, but I hated the way it looked when it was wavy, so I straightened it. I came to school with abnormally straight hair and a girl asked me if I had used a straightener. Not having any shameful bias against it, I answered truthfully. I heard a few people talking amongst each other and snickering about it. I didn't really think anything of it at the time.

Fast forward to junior year. We had an assembly about bullying (the irony). In the video, it talked about teenage boys and girls trying to make themselves look more attractive to fit in or feel okay about their appearance. There was a girl in the video straightening her hair in the mirror and someone in the audience yelled out my name. Quite a few people were laughing, and it hurt deep inside.

The moral of the story: never try to fit in. You'll only make things worse for yourself.

So...your faith in humanity is restored because you like when people advocate being an attention whore?
